Tyler Hughes is a representational oil painter living and working in New York. He received a BA in Visual Arts from SUNY New Paltz and briefly studied with several artists in the Long Island area.
Tyler's work is centered around the exploration of the human form and its emotions. He specializes in portraiture, seeking to capture the essence of his subjects through careful observation and attention to detail. Drawing inspiration from the old masters, Tyler aims to create pieces that are both timeless and contemporary.
