He was introduced to making 8mm films at a local library’s workshop in Tehran, in 1979. Soon after, he was chosen as an assistant director with many acclaimed Iranian directors such as Kianoush Ayari and Daruish Mehrjui.

The Terracotta Army is a collection of terracotta sculptures depicting the armies of Qin Shi Huang, the first Emperor of China. It is a form of funerary art buried with the emperor in 210–209 BCE with the purpose of protecting the emperor in his afterlife.
Experts estimate there are more than 8,000 soldiers, 130 chariots, and 670 horses. Every soldier is unique, no two are alike and each has unique and realistic features. The figures are located in three pits near the city of Xi'an in China's Shaanxi province.
